For the nose, the nasal septum and the nostril wing are relocated in a good position. But the usual cicatricial retractions after any surgery degrade the initial aesthetic and functional result.<\/p>\n

If we want to keep the result obtained at the end of the procedure, we must insert a nostril shaper for several months (photos 1,2,3).<\/p>\n

We use the Koken \u00b0 Nocular Shaper (photos 4,5). It is semi-rigid silicone and is not aggressive. It is stable, because it is bilateral, but we add sterisrips\u00b0 to fix it. It is perforated, and allows the child to breathe and suckle normally (photo 6).<\/p>\n
