Humanitarian missions

For many years, the surgical teams at the Médipôle Garonne clinic, and formerly at the Cours Dillon clinic, have been involved in humanitarian missions in developing countries. These actions relate to club foot surgery, ear surgery and cleft palate repair, and have taken place in Africa (Mali, Senegal, Benin) and Asia (Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines).
A team from the Palio Labs Skill Center operates more than 40 children with cleft palates each year in the Philippines. This volunteer mission is organized in partnership with the Philippine Child Support Committee and the Association Enfance et Chirurgie Humanitaire.
You can follow the progress of a mission using the slideshow below. From the arrival at the hospital, with consultations at the beginning of a mission, to the interventions taking place in the operating room, and finally the postoperative visit in the common rooms.
